About Me

I'm this guy like any other guy, that's not true I'm quite a character. Yikes maybe I'm that sensitive man women claim not to be able to find. I live in the part of town near Greenlawn at River & Panorama. I own a little house under a big tree. It’s a comfortable place for me and a coupla ol hounds.
I started doing Massage for a living ages ago, now I mostly massage for fun, and a way to connect with people, and show-off. I'm not Buddhist or a taoist but I tend to be drawn to many of their concepts. The goal of lessening suffering in the world is one. That must be where the massage comes from. My personal specific beliefs range from oneness with Gaia and the Universal Consciousness, to Jesus and the part about the lilies of the valley. Then there’s the whole thing about being part of the solution. This doesn't stop me from making any old smart ass comment I can get a laugh with.Currently my ambitions are to update my skills with PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash all of Adobe CS3. Get back to making money with it. No phonebooks this time, something to develop my art skills.Internet apps fascinate me, this whole social networking thing fascinates me. Working with that would be great.
I like many kinds music. "Live" is my favorite kind, I really enjoy a good concert at an interesting venue. A few years ago I went to the Bridge Benefit XIII at the Shoreline Amphitheater at Mountain View. Neil Young, The Who, Pearl Jam, Sheryl Crow, Green Day, Billy Corgan & James Iha, Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams and Brian Wilson. Damn what a show. I have even been known (with enough drinks in me) to belt one out at karaoke.
I have been into Theater since High School. I got a small part in Macbeth, the Scottish play It ran in march and April of 07. Can't wait for the next show.
Back in the day I learned hypnosis and used some of the techniques to get people relaxed and ready for massage. It seemed to double the positive result; people were more relaxed and it seemed to last longer. I am studying more so I can possibly use these skills to even better effect.

My Interests

Theater, Fine art, my dogs, 420, Internet.

Now would be an exciting time to be with me.

This Really is What We Are

Music:

Many types, nothing to popular. Mostly I listen to the classical station or podsafe instramentals. I like lyric songs but the movie soundtrack of my mind is about me not some singer. After all it's my movie. Well okay, get a few drinks in me, maybe a splif, and it's all about the old 'classic rock songs'.

Movies:

Haven't watched many lately, I have netflix and usually look for indie films, comedies mostly. If I'm paying for tickets I like to see the big action or special effects ones. Dramas and the like are just as good on small screens.

Television:

Thank god for DVR. Here again I like TV but just not most network faire reality shows, soapy things. IFC is a good place to record. Old Kung Fu. Boston Legal is a hoot. SciFi like Firefly or Dr. Who. Comedy Central Daily Show, Colbert, Mencia, Stand-ups

Books:

Audio books mostly, I spend a lot of time driving. I like non fiction the most. Freakonomics, The Island at the center of the Universe, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Oh that last one is fiction -or is it? oooO. Okay I gave in to peer pressure and read The Da Vinci Code.

My Background and Lifestyle

MaritalStatus: Single
Ethnicity: White / Caucasian
SexualOrientation: Straight
Hometown: B-Town
Religion: Other
Children: Undecided
Education: Some college
Occupation: Renaissance Man
Income: $250,000 and Higher
