Downhill from there. Busted for smoking in the bathroom in seventh grade. Burnout to punk rocker by freshman year. Refused to read Willa Cather in Advanced English, deciding instead to write a theme song for "O! Pioneers" based upon the cover of the book. School didn't last long. On to "Art", "Music", "Creativity". A brief unsuccessful stint in corporate America accompanied by a lion's share of good old fashioned American Sexual Harrassment. Then to the glamorous world of stock footage licensing and commercial film production. One hasn't lived until one makes a jackass of oneself in front of Primus. The logical progression was made to phone sex operator, more travel was painfully inserted without lubrication, Art and Music were attempted for a longer period of time, to limited cult success, resulting in two CDs, running around in black calling herself things like "Spoken Word Artist" and "Songstress", and receiving calls from two gentlemen, each pretending to work A&R for a record label, but apparently with other motives in mind. After a series of misadventures that frankly are better left unspoken, our subject finally settled - relatively speaking - into a life of generalized debauchery and anxiety - as opposed to the specialized kinds - well-augmented with liberal doses of insanity, unhealthy obsessions, unhealthy habits, and the ever popular poverty/squalor blue plate special. Also the occasional urge to kick some ass. Known to enjoy horror films, indies, documentaries; philosophy and all sorts of reading materials; hopelessly addicted to nicotine and caffeine; considerable confusion appears obvious with regard to settling on a hair color. |
