| I'm an Englishman who's been playing guitar for long enough to know better, but who enjoys it anyway. I've been lucky enough to play in several bands, including THE NAMELESS with Matt Bowler and Mike Morton ............................................................ ................................................... ANDERSON CONGRESS with Jake Sinetos , Lucy Canter and Adam John Miller ............................................................ ................................................... HEARTLESS ST. SEBASTIAN with William Davies , Matt Bowler , Chris Bates and Beckie Burn ............................................................ ................................................... I was also drafted in to play guitar for THE WHAT I WANTED TO DOS album, and ended up joining the band. For the last six months I've been in San Francisco rocking the CONGRESS , but now I'm back home working on solo stuff again. ............................................................ .................................................. The background noise on '4th of July' is the fireworks from the street outside. The live version of Hole in My Heart was recorded at the 222 Club in San Francisco - thankyou Moorea for that. Influences: Being sad, being happy, being drunk - and doing it all while playing a bit of guitar and writing bad bedroom poetry. Oh, and possibly some Sparklehorse; James Taylor; Low; Sonic Youth; Minus Story; Sufjan Stevens.... etc etc. Sounds Like: "This is perhaps the most relaxing music you will ever hear. ... it's very sparse, but his voice has a yearning to it that is absolutely amazing."
