| I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4NEW BAND MEMBERS ADDED. PROFILE TO BE UPDATED SOON, ALBUM IS BACK UNDERWAY!!!! OCTOBER 2007.......from the ashes of Rancho Deluxe, Jim Jeffries has developed a new band which will expand on the darker sides of his rockabilly, country-blues, gypsy- jazz, punk, bluegrass, gothic-hillbilly and americana influences... Jim has previously had the experience of working in The Caravans on their "No Mercy" album, and has also backed Levi Dexter and Mark Lee Allen.... also in 2006 Jim was in Dead Kings....The Dark Angels also features the legendary Smutty Smith - of 13 Cats, Rockats & Havalinas fame, and rising star Ruby Bones who already has established himself as an accomplished and versatile musician. The band will be in the studio again and on the road very soon, but in the meantime, some samples from Jim's repertoire have been posted...Jim & Ruby also work together in XX Cortez, which is Jim's outlet for abrasive punk rock and psychobilly - that band will be recording their debut album this spring, and will be gigging again soon...Also a change has happened in The Dark Angels since the band started.. we have decided to go for a more dark folk based style, and less rockabilly.. so Jim, Ruby and new man Choppy created a new band Whip Crackin' Daddies - see Top 8. | |
