| Frankie Needles is a multitalented and dynamic presence in the Latin-Urban market, as a DJ, Television and Radio Host he continues to entertain and uplift the Latin-Urban community through his extensive reach. He remains a key influencer behind today’s Latin-Urban movement and a staple in the entertainment scene. A New York native of Washington Heights, Frankie Needles nurtured his love of Hip-Hop with his first set of turntables in 1986 and has since been perfecting his craft and using his influence to help up and coming artists gain exposure and promotion.As host of Mun2’s “The Roof,” a groundbreaking program featuring Spanish and English programming Frankie Needles was responsible for breaking many of today’s hottest Latin-Urban and Latin Hip-Hop artists. Frankie Needles was an early pioneer in the “Reggaeton” genre, giving artists such as Daddy Yankee, Ivy Queen, Tego Calderon and Don Omar their earliest national exposure. A charming personality and hype energy facilitates his personal relationships with some of the biggest recording artists in the-game.Today, Frankie Needles is a major presence in the Latin-Urban music scene. He hosts “One Nation Under Hip-Hop” on Mun2 and serves as the channel’s “Hip-Hop Coordinator.” Frankie Needles also hosts a Syndicated Network Radio program through LBC and Westwood One called The Top 20 Latin-Urban Countdown Hosted by Frankie Needles. This weekly, two-hour program features a mix of the hottest Reggaeton, Hip-Hop, R&B and Reggae music.In addition to his involvement in music, Frankie Needles has his hand in Hollywood. For Illegal Tender, John Singleton’s latest film Frankie Needles served as the Music Supervisor, creating an unforgettable soundtrack. Frankie Needles also did voiceover work for Illegal Tender lending his legendary voice to the film.
