Snake Melinda is an altrock band from Stavanger. They've been compared to both Evanescense and Garbage, and weave elements from both classical music and rock into their sound. The band was originally started back in the 90`s. At the time it was mainly a prog-rock band, but has since those early days drawn influences from both rock and pop. After a while, the band took a break to pursue other interests, but reformed in 2004 as Snake Melinda. The band has recently finished a four track EP . It will be available for sale in December 2007. They have been recording at Dreamlabs studios with Gulleiv Wee (Morten Abel, The September When) and Inge Engelsvoll. |
