Formed in 2007, the members have all played in various New York City bands.After years of playing in the Staten Island hardcore punk/metal scene, the four friends decided to challenge themselves and their creativity and formed the current line up that is known as Ghosts of Eden. With influences ranging from the Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Deftones and The Pixies to Neil Young and Johnny Cash, GoE's vision for the present and the future has no boundaries.Anyone who comes to see the Ghosts play a live show will undoubtedly experience the raw energy and camaraderie that helped build this band. It also doesn't hurt that they write painfully catchy songs that a room full of people always wind up moving and singing along to.The boys are currently recording their first EP at Sweetfire Studios in Brooklyn, New York under the watchful eye of engineer/producer Mike Barile (40 Below Summer, Candiria, People in Planes, Kate Voegele, Hope Kills Fear).GoE is truly determined to bring something unique and captivating to the masses that has been long gone in the music industry.
