biography: in the year '92 nailons musical horizon broke fundamentally. fascinated by guitar sound, reggae, pop and so on, he got more and more into the electronic world of music. starting off listening intensively to british hardcore, detroit and breakbeats. at a party in '94 he heard jungle / drum and bass consciously for the very first time. dj hype and stevie hyper d got him on the right track. bernie and toni aka dj antart, the organizers of this legendary party from then on supplied him with the freshest dnb sound. that's how it all began, it was just the start in '97 he got in contact with the bomb shelter crew (dj synaptic, keenan & mc matt). the more time he spent with the guys, the more he got into the music and especially the mc thing. after starting of mc'ing, he had the luck to accompany neotek and synaptic aka neuro_technologies as their resident mc. thats how he made his first steps on switzerlands dnb stages. still in his studies which took up a lot of time, the team split up after 18 month and they went their separate ways. constantly developing his style at home, with some occasional appearances, nailon is back in '04 as a part of the label vocal breath based in berne to turn up the heat 2nd time round ! philosophy / style: let the music be the picture and frame it with your lyrics and less is more. these are nailons basic thoughts when its about mcing. he always tries to be innovative, experiments with his voice and combines rhyming and singing to hype the crowd. for nailon, there is no boarder between english and his mothertoungue swiss-german. featured with: (to name a few international artists) artificial intelligence (uk), q-project (uk), cyantific (uk), gridlock (usa), sabre (uk), skc (hu), bu (esp), arno (fr), spirit (uk), mathematics (usa), alley cat (uk), wildchild (uk), klute (uk), markus intalex (uk), babeln (cz), beast67 (cz), tc1 (uk), kasra (uk), bailey (uk), craggz & parallel forces (uk), nu:tone (uk), commix (uk), dj lee (uk), spectrasoul (uk), reference (uk)... nailon@vocalbreath.ch | www.vocalbreath.ch dj sabre feat. nailon mc dj valentine feat. nailon mc |
