About Me


I DO I DO was born in january 2004. Stefaan (guitar/vocals) and Jonas (bass/vocals) were engaged before as songwriting/singing/guitarplaying partners in the locally well known band LAND. These were passionate times, but not to last.

When Stephan (drums) stepped in in the winter of 2004, the season changed and pieces (stubborn rhythms, minor chords, clear melodies en droning bass) fell into place. You could call I do I do an indie rockband, loud 'n' melancholic.

The band released their first full album 'None'. Thirteen songs, 42 minutes of music. Recorded and mixed between july 7 and july 20, 2006, at Camp Street Studios, Cambridge, Ma. Chris Brokaw (producer), Paul Q Kolderie and Adam Taylor (recording/mixing engineers) were on top of the recordings. 'None' is released for the Benelux and Poland. Our baby is available on i-tunes also, but then of course you're missing some great artwork.

Jeff Goddard (ex-Karate), who is living in Ghent now, joined forces with us after recording the album. We've already done a couple of shows in this new line-up: Jeff on bass and Jonas on guitar. The season's changing again, everybody happy!
