I would like to be known as a person who is concerned about freedom and equality and justice and prosperity for all people....but probably will be known for other less commendable things.Well ....lets see - do you really want the truth or should I make up a pack of assorted crap ? I didn't think so .....------------------------------------------------------- ---The Chillon Castle (Château de Chillon) is located on the shore of Lake Geneva near Montreux, Switzerland. The castle consists of 25 independent buildings that were gradually connected and now form a single whole.The oldest parts of the castle have not been definitively dated, but the first written record of the castle is in 1160 or 1005[1]. From the mid 12th century, the castle was home to the Counts of Savoy, and it was greatly expanded in the 13th century by Pietro II. The Castle was never taken in a siege, but did change hands through treaties.It was made popular by Lord Byron, who wrote the poem The Prisoner Of Chillon (1816) about François de Bonivard, a Genevois monk and politician who was imprisoned there from 1530 to 1536. The castle in one of the settings in Henry James's novella Daisy Miller (1878).It now hosts a museum with some historical objects preserved and is open to public tours.The following pictures were all taken in Switzerland... |

| I have a lot of interests but one of the more obvious ones is Music ................ I have always liked music and have a couple 1000 compact discs. Started collecting records when I was about 6 years old and used to buy the inventories from the vending company that supplied all the juke boxes a few years later... Most of my cd's however are ROIO's or Recordings of Indetermined Origins. AKA - Bootlegs ...also about the same amount of LP's.......... I like playing the drums,concerts,animals, some gardening, my freedom, honest/loyal women ...... and some of the usual and unusual things i guess....guns,motorcycles,Golf, surfing ze web and obtaining info, gourmet cooking & KXGO 93.1 !! ....Traveling is cool, I've been in approximately a dozen different Countries and Islands on Holiday (Europe is heavenly, I took about 1000 pictures and would like to soon go back. What else?...... Pharmacology,Psychology,Mycology, Dermatology.....no, scratch that one and the prior - lol . I'm also interested in finding out what makes you tick.There, I updated a little .
