| CBGB closed at 315 Bowery on Sunday October 15th, 2006. This MYSPACE page was originally created as the club's official page. Now it is a continuing tribute to the greatest rock n' roll club that ever was. I was the birth place of punk. I was where rock n roll belongs... a small dirty, beer soaked, dark pit of a club with the best stage sound in the city. My walls were held together by years of layers of flyers and stickers.
