Uk Bassline/R&B/Hip Hop/Nu Jazz undiscovered FRESHLY TURNED 18 year old artist Tamzin Challenger, was born and raised in Leicestershire. Musical talent began to show when Tamzin was around 3 years old. "Since she could open her mouth, she would sing at the top of her voice" says Dawn, Tamzin's mother. "There's one very funny incident that comes to mind, sainsburys..crowd..Charles and Eddies 'would i lie to you baby'...i shant say anymore" she laughs. At 7 she began piano lessons but it became clear reading music was a task, so she quit and taught herself to play by ear. Tamzin developed her vocal range starting off singing in choirs and began song writing early teens. Influenced by the rock and roll days of her father Romeo Challenger Showaddywaddy,Tamzin has created a fusion of sounds. "I sing main stream r&b and soul, but i love to express the many sides i have. I have a love for all genre's. My music is a fusion of everything that I am, which is a lot! She's slightly shy about singing on the spot,but wen asked would you sing for me now for a contract she burst into song"come on and love me...". "Early day's yet starting in the recording studio". Raw talent is apparent though, "Im just learnin the ropes,Its kinda odd when i hear my stuff played back to me. Im a perfectionist so i get mad with myself if i dont finish tracks or there ruff. Its all fun though,its my dreamI appreciate guidance from experienced singers/artists"...watch out for the name!
