| I'm a photographer and fine artist. I'm friendly, twisted funny, but tend to keep to myself unless I'm with friends. I love animals, wildlife of all kinds, nature, music, movies (if they're good) and anything that will make me laugh. Friends and family are so special. I'm the lady with two cats sleeping on the bed with me and I love it. An art show, museum or a really good concert (that I don't have to work) will get me out of my loft on a weekend. I love my work and create something nearly every day. I can be a bit impulsive, like when I went parasailing and had never thought of doing it before and I insisted on taking my camera so I could remember the whole experience. Sometimes I should think about what I'm doing before I do it, but then I would miss out on so much.
..My work is my life, for the most part. Not because I'm a workaholic, but because it's so much fun. I photograph whatever appeals to me but love music & musicians - especially JAZZ artists, anything that moves fast (check out the racecar stuff), if it has color or a cool shape - I have to shoot it. Movies:Movies are so cool! There are so many favorites - too many to mention, but I have to admit that my all time favorite is "The Blues Brothers" - it's got it all, great (really great) music by all my favorites: Aretha Franklin, John Lee Hooker, Ray Charles, Cab Calloway - It has dancing, car chases, a love story, nazi's (who lose in the end), it's laugh out loud funny, Brilliant art direction - Ok, don't get me started about this movie. I like dark humor - for instance: Little Shop of Horrors, Harold & Maude. I loved The Birdcage and it's predecesor La Cage Au Follies - even in French it's a scream. Then there's The Tall Blonde Man with One Red Shoe (the french version). But before you think I'm a comedy junkie - which I am, I love dramatic movies, ANYTHING by M. Knight, Ron Howard or Spielberg. Don't like slasher or gore, but if it's got a good story - and hopefully the critics hated it (I never trust the ones they like), I'm there! |

Television:I watch way too much TV - mostly in the middle of the night - so I get desperate and watch just about anything. When given a choice I love anything with wildlife - yes, I love the Discovery Channel. There have been some great TV shows, which if I love them they always get cancelled. Boo Hoo. I can't stand game shows or anything that has a lot of bells, whistles or other noisemakers. I have my TiVo maxed out with all my favorites. That way I don't have to watch the commercials and there's stuff I can watch at 2am when I can't sleep (a common problem with creative types)! |
