It all started with a dj asking me "do you wanna learn how to do this"? He goes by the name of Farley Keith. The classes started and so began the name DJ Chip. Me and David Allen started to practice sessions...No turntables and no mixer,His moms stereo and my moms stereo (when your broke, you work with what you have). We linked up with some other guys in the neighborhood, Steve Poindexter, John Hunt and some others and started our life journeys....To Be A D.J.! I started in radio in Chicago. My best friend (R.I.P.) Pink House got me into college and on the mic. WKKC 89.3 FM is where it all started. From there it was Rap Radio (the first all rap station in the country) WJPC 1380am (I think...lol). I did guest spots on WBMX & WGCI and then landed a spot on 106 JAMZ (Chicago's first hip-hop station). I moved to Atlanta and was hired by the southeast #1 radio station, V-103, WVEE. I had an afternnon show in Columbus that was #1 for 2yrs. I now have my own morning show in COLUMBUS..."DJ Chip in the mornings" which consist of myself, Shay Baby, Lav Luv and a few others. It's the #1 morning show in Columbus (2yrs and running). I'm also CEO of "The DJ Chip and Kidz" foundation and I have a production company called "Hot Drops" (thanks for the name Glide). Let's not forget I'm a member of the HITTMENN DJ's. I'm on the move...you'll see me soon!! ..
