GET IT AT http://www.WOLFTRANE.COM or at iTunes WOLFTRANE is an original blues rock band with a driving beat and an aggressive guitar style that is inspired by greats such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and BB King. The band’s origins date back to November 1998 when songwriter Richard Cruz Jr. (singer/guitarist) founded the band. Together with Ray Jefferson (bass), and Michael McQuilken (drums), they create the musical dynamic that uniquely define the songs and style of Wolftrane. Wolftrane has played at some of the most popular venues in San Diego including Brick by Brick, The Hard Rock Cafe and 2 consecutive years at the Showcase Stage at the San Diego County Fair. In March of 2002 the band was featured on San Diego’s KUSI Channel 51 morning news where they performed live in the studio. Samples of this performance are available at Wolftrane.com. Wolftrane is available for booking in clubs, bars, corporate events, private parties and as an opening band for national, regional or local artists. The group has prior working relations with instrument and pro audio manufacturers and sound reinforcement companies such as Carvin, TCS Audio, Seymour Duncan, BIG Productions and Gator Cases. Wolftrane can provide a moderate self-run sound system as well as arrange for sound reinforcement large enough for an arena. |
