| From Yonkers New York, this dynamic rock band has been entertaining audiences in the New York metropolitan area for the past four years. Led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Ralph Conte and Timmy Rehn on bass guitar, The Riff Bangers songs feature clear, clever lyrics with exciting vocal performances; highlighted with rhythmic, melodic bass lines and tasty guitar parts. Conte has been writing songs to rave reviews for over 15 years and is a familiar face in the bars and clubs of New York City’s West Village and Lower East Side. The group has an extensive catalog of original material and is looking for a major distributor.The Riff Bangers gave high-powered, extremely successful performances at CBGB’s, Kenny’s Castaways, The Lions Den, The C-Note, The Baggot Inn, and Playland Park last year and will begin playing live gigs again this spring. Conte can be seen performing both original and cover music all over NYC and the tri-state area. This prolific songwriter enjoys playing solo acoustic as much as with his band, The Riff Bangers, and receives just as many compliments on his music, for his original compositions, as well as his groove oriented arrangements of classic rock and blues standards.Their latest CD “Have Pen Will Travel” features ten new original numbers.
