Hollyboots is :Chris La shelle and Holly FrenchGerman born Holly French developed her voice singing club tracks and jingles in Germany. Holly moved to the United States in her late teens to pursue her music career. Holly has many pop album, commercial and club track credits, earning herself a Grammy Nomination in 2006. Holly speaks and sings in six languages!Chris was classically trained on piano as a child, and then went on to pick up many other instruments over the years. Growing up in Los Angeles Chris has been involved in countless musical endeavours. Chris has a myriad of film, television, commercial, and other media credits. Chris composes, performs, produces, arranges, and engineers all this music. Chris's production techniques are unique and unconventional, giving Hollyboots a unique, yet then again, somehow familiar sound.Chris's diverse, mad scientist like intonations, twisted visions, and rythmic cyphers, infused with Holly's haunting hook lines, provocative ideas, and effervescent presence, collides into the phenomenon that has become " Hollyboots". Holly speaks and sings in six languages giving the Hollyboot's project fans all over the world! The live show is being developed and will be ready to tour by mid 2008.Holly & Chris have18 original Hollyboots demo recordings complete. The Hollyboots project has been written as a "Rock Opera". 12 of these recordings tell the story of Hollyboots.These recordings have been developed into a fluid journey of a women in search of herself. (all in music)The first segment "Perfect Stranger" is complete, and the next video is in pre-production. Each song/video will stand on it's own, or fit together into the grand story. Once complete the Hollyboots project could be adapted to the stage.Hollyboots is the brainchild of Chris La Shelle. Holly French is the chameleon with the raw talent, power and poise to pull it off.
