Started in Hong Kong in December 1999 as a small mailorder selling CD's to fans. from that we expanded into a metal store. The main focus was to bring all types of metal into Hong Kong to enhance the quality of the bands playing metal and expand their influences which in turn got their fans into more diverse music. After that was established, TRHK started to sign bands from Asia, DEATHGUY (Thailand) whcih was our first signing, and SWORD OF DARKENSS (Vietnam/Usa) our second. This had made us go outwards from Hong kong into the world and was suprisingly successful, we had in a one year built up a reputation of becomsing an upcoming label. With this we started to order more Cd's and a diverse vareity of bands, that we ahd to move to a bigger shop and in a more prominent area in Hong Kong. With all contacts in place , we took a bold step and signed on our first European band CARNAL GRIEF (Sweden) and CRYFEMAL (Spain), this gave us more exposure to the different markets. TRHK has always loved Thrash, Black , Death metal and would go on to sign SIGNS OF DARKNESS (Belgium) and REQUIEM AETERNAM (URAGUAY) in 2005. The focus had not changed for TRHK, but expanded its mind looking at doing distribution for overseas labels in all of Asia, with this in mind we started to licenses titles from Centruy Media and Firebox of the bands we like alot, keeping a focus of the labels identity. This year 2006 we will take TRHK to a higher level and will release 9 bands, starting with 3 bands in March INFERNAL VENGEANCE (Sweden), VEDONIST (Poland), NATIONAL NAPALM SYNDICATE (Finland, which is a worldwide license deal) It has never been easy and we have had lots of ups and downs, but the passion, pride and dedication to sign more bands to bring out to the the masses around the world, whilst being a small indie label in Asia.
