For about a year in 1997-1998 four friends gathered at a home in Mansfield,Texas almost every weekend to jam,eat,drink and smoke. After butchering classic rock and blues songs they would launch into spontaneous jams,offered here. The four,the original Tonefreaks,all went their separate ways,but the tapes remain. Check back frequently,I'll try to rotate the tunes out on a monthly basis. -K You can buy some of the tunes from "Tonefreaks '97" here: space odyssey on Soundclick My annual freebie, "psychedelacoustic vol.3" is a cd of experiments with pedal steel guitar, tapes, loop box and found sounds.
