| Nam (naam)= (The holy name of God reverberating throughout all of Creation, as repeated by the Sikhs). My interest include but aren't limited to finding new ways of getting paid. I'm still a student and cannot predict when I'll finish cause for now I'm chasing my dream. I do feel that education is necessary in life. Not just college but practical experience. I enjoy learning new things. Ive always dreamed of working in the music industry since I was younger. I remember when Micheal Bivins introduced us to ABC and Boyz II Men.(Don't act like y'all didn't like them motherfuckers)That was when consciously I decided that's what I wanted to do. I'm the biggest fan of Hip-Hop Ive lived it, loved it, breathed it and shitted it since I can remember. My oldest brother use to rock, everything from the Beastie boys, NWA, Run DMC, to LL-cool J. I remember when cassettes were the ultimate form of media and the damn boombox use chew them up.....LOL Those were the good old days. One of my alltime favorites groups is Gangstarr and I had the luxury of meeting Patrick Moxey GS's former mgr of EMPIRE mgt, at a Wendy Day panel in Memphis. Before that chance meeting I was shopping beats from MEM to NY just meeting cats and letting A&R's know what was up with the south. Kind of being dilligent and persistant, but staying up on what was going on with the music in my region. Steadily keeping in touch with Patrick he saw my love and for this business and after a while gave me an opportunity to seek new writers and assist his A&R dept and I've been networking through the game ever since. Big up! to Wendy Day of Rap Coalition who saw my passion for the game and pulled me in. Love ya forever.. Did I mention I find new ways to get paid. HUSTLER!!!!!! | |
