About Me |

Upstanding Youth is a six piece ska-punk-reggae band from Oahu, Hawaii. They've been playing together since 2001 and since then have written, recorded, and produced three recordings. They are currently working on their fourth record that should be done the summer of 2008. Their first two CDs, Trying to Stand (2002) and Kam Highway Catharsis (2003), both won Best Ska/Punk Album of the year at the Hawaiian Music Awards. Their third album, entitled STILL (2006), is their most cohesive and powerful release to date, and was also awarded HMA Best Ska/Punk album of 2006.
