| Slow Death Factory is a five-piece Metal act with roots in the Danish metal scene (3/5ths of the lineup being from the original Illdisposed album, “Submit”). Its basic trademark is a thick, aggressive, blitzkrieg-of-the-senses, riff-based sound, and gutter, rock-star attitude, epitomized by their motto: "all hail the evil riff" 2005: Morten Gilsted hit the studio with friends Martin Rosendahl, Roar Christoffersen (both in Corpus Mortale) and Per Mølller Jensen (The Haunted) to record the 3-track promo “Music for Tough Guys”, in a bid to establish one of the most hard hitting metal acts ever! " 2006: Following a highly successful DK tour, and intensive rehearsal, the Factory went to Borsing Recording in late 2006 with new singer, Søren Kirkegaard, to record their 10-track debut album. ". Legendary producer-wiz, Tue Madsen, initially only supposed to help the band out on a short notice, was so amazed by their material that he convinced them (without any trouble…) that he was the man to produce their album. During the mixing period, The Factory often received mails from Tue, exclaiming: “KICK LASSES ASS TILL HE UNDERSTANDS ‘SMALL MEN’ IS THE WILDEST SHIT EVER!” and “THIS MAKES ME WANNA START PLAYING GUITAR AGAIN!” Tues’ total commitment to the band’s music is easily heard in the production, and this, combined with an experienced and very hungry band, bodes well for the immanent unleashing of their as-yet-unnamed, evil offspring. 2007: Currently, the band is in contact with several prominent labels. An eventual contract and record release will herald the commencement of some serious touring, which will once-and-for-all establish the band as one of the hardest, heaviest, and most uncompromising live acts around!
