| In 1877 Edison f***ed around and invented the phonograph.Damn that was almost 130yrs ago. Since then all forms of noise have been captured at a variety of revolutions per minute.Trapped between needle, groove, amp, speaker, airwave, ear canal, and memory. At my last count there were some 60+ variants of genres of music. So how come when u head to ur local discotech ur generally offered only 3? All these differing sound signatures are related to each other. Its all a matter of connecting the dots, and matching structures. We (chain gang) are about uncovering sonic treasure and sharing the sound, whatever it is as long as it has an integrity to our ears, 5 djs with different tastes and backgrounds, no ego's just a dedication to sound. Although the home team are made up of five friends the wider community of people that have introduced ourselves and others to new and old-new music is a network of vinyl geeks and audio addicts, we dont care how much a record is valued at or who played it.
