| NOTE: THIS IS A PROFILE FOR MY MUSIC BUT I ALSO USE IT AS A PERSONAL PAGE, SO I WILL CHAT ETC ON HERE LIKE A NORMAL PERSON, BUT YOU CAN ALSO HEAR MY MUSIC. CHECK MY "ABOUT ME (AND MY DOG) BLOG FOR PERSONAL INFO.Im a 24 year old Anglo/Italian Lead guitarist/songwriter (attempted singer!) who grew up with a lot of music, and is looking to make my mark with classic song writing that draws from all the greats of Rock and Pop.
Influenced by The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin etc, I have written over 100 songs that range from Hard Rock, Acoustic Pop, Soul, Southern County Rock, Folk and more. I am limited only by my taste in music. I also have 2 other solo profiles I've recently put up, www.myspace.com/dandicarlo2 and www.myspace.com/mothersuperiorjumpsthegun (both of which are on my top friends list) check them out.
This site will concentrate on my recently developed solo (mainly)acoustic work, leaving out the big rockers and scary guitar playing that I love to perform with my first band, unless that is, I one day put up a couple for a laugh. However I have put up some videos of some rock playing and I will continue to do so. So there!! Check out my rock playing.
However my main ambition has always been to be part of a band rather than a solo artist. Over the past couple of years I've worked with Malmo and also My own band The Black Sands www.myspace.com/blacksandsmusic which I formed a while back to play more of my Rock/Indie material, but has been inactive for a year, although I hope to start something again very soon. There are also other projects I am considering, I'll keep you posted!
Anyway I've put up this site to get some of my stuff out there, its not recorded very well, but hopefully I'll get my time in the studio one day.
