Umm; really thought it was about time I wrote something sensible here. I'm Chris, co-owner of Hospital, alongside Mr Anthony-LE-Colman. With the Homatawk, Vibert, Riley and some marvellous volunteers we run our label from Forest Hill. In what used to be an Age Concern day centre. We be up+running since 1996. Back in the day, Mr Colman and myself worked on the Tongue+Groove record label, in the heady days of 'Acid Jazz'. We had our moments.. but it's all NHS these days. For a while I played my part in the London Elektricity saga; me and Tony made tunes together from nhs1, through til nhs46 ('Down Low' was my swan-goose-song). We also made some rather entertaining house music under the Future Homosapiens moniker... 'Moonrock' was the longplayer; in Mixmag's Top 20 Albums Of The Year, back in 1947! Since then I have been living the life of label manager/designer/director, with our beautifully formed family of staff and artists. We release vinyl, cds, mp3s, make merchandise, put on club nights, and generally have a marvellous time.
