Influences: Nick Drake Elliott Smith Devendra Banhart Turinbrakes Sounds Like: sometimes I speak to my guitar... ... when I come home after a journey or after a weekend outside it is her I wish to see at first. I hope that she, like me, has reflected upon new melodies, new music. I give her a hug and I tell her everything - like you do with a dear friend. Sometimes we do not even have to speak... those are the best moments...when I and her become one. Then it is enough to led my fingertips run over her strings, her wooden body, to communicate all that I have inside to her and to have it transformed by her into music. But it is not always like that... At times I am overflowing with ideas, with words and refrains but she is fed up with playing... at other times she plays endlessly and I am not even able to make one single word come out of my mouth... like mute. Times when we do not agree about a melody or verse... As a matter of fact I know that she, in her soft and quite dusty shell is alive. You would not believe this until you understand that you love music and you imagine your instrument being a part of you, like a girlfriend. You struggle, you laugh, you cry, you travel... maybe sooner or later you split up. With her I have found a new way of experience but that is not all: also I have found a new way to look inside of me, to understand myself. Sometimes she is mean to me hurting my fingers... but I am no better, hitting and beating her every now and then. I think that every relationship must be lived day after day and today, me and her, together, we are Cosimo... I hope you like it. Type of Label: None
