| Julian Camaz Electric and Acoustic Lead Guitarist/Singer Rock.Pop.R&B.Jazz.Top 40.Latin.Julian Camaz is an experienced guitar player and singer. Julian began playing guitar at age 7, and with Rock and Top 40 bands at 16. Later he studied classical Guitar in college and Jazz with private instructors. Always interested in all forms of art, he also studied contemporary dance and theater which helped him to develop a very strong stage presence.A turning point is his professional career was marked by a two month contract at the Sheraton Resort In Cancun, Mexico which turned into a ten year stint playing at the top hotels on the strip (from Rock to Jazz and everything in between), conventions, and clubs like, The Hard Rock Cafe, Dady Rock and Tequila Boom just to name a few. Along with his ability to cover an ample range of styles, Julian also have extensive national touring experience in the US, and performed in music venues such as Nashville’s Historic Ryman Auditorium, NYC's The Lamb's Theater and many other Performing Arts Centers, Clubs and Casinos in the country. He also was a member of Latin Star Chayanne's band. In 2008 he performed at the WSJT 94.1 Smooth Jazz Festival in Coachman Park, Clearwater, FL.Julian is a versatile musician and an accomplished guitar player in the recording studio and on stage, from Classic Rock to Disco, from R&B to 80's Pop, from Reggae to Jazz to 90's Rock, from Latin to Top 40 to Funk, he can deliver the right feel, he's got a great guitar tone, his leads sound mature and musical, and his rhythm chops are solid and in the pocket. Adding his singing ability and team player mentality makes Julian a very valuable asset in any musical situation. | |
