| Header Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com! Click here to make your own!Freaky Age is a four-piece Indie-rockband from Ternat (Belgium) who was founded late 2003. After just a couple of gigs we decided to send a demotape to Humo’s Rock Rally edition 2006, the most important Belgian contest. We made it to the finals and were, with our average age of 14 years old, the youngest band to ever make it to the finals and to play at the Ancienne Belgique (AB) stage.
At that moment Freaky Age was still a trio (two guitars, drums & vox), but six months after the finals Dete joined the club as a bassplayer. Early 2007 we were discovered through Myspace by Sonic Wave Management, a French management agency based in Paris. Thanks to them we played in France for the first time in april 2007, in a sold out Zénith Arena (Lille) as support act for the ultra popular French band ‘Superbus’. The first EP was released in september 2007. This EP included our first single Time Is Over. Our second single was released in march '08 and our debut album's national release is planned for the 21 of april '08.
