| Hey, I'm just a 50 year old housewife/Mom & Grandma. My kids told me I should do one of these, so here it is. Born in Detroit and raised in the Detroit area most of my childhood, I now live in rural Livingston County. I'm pretty laid back and down to earth person. I'm a ebay junkie. That experience began while I was recovering from breast cancer surgury, chemo treatments and a broken leg that I suffered in a car accident. I do mostly sell, but do my share of buying too. I am currently not employed, although I probably should be. I have four kids (3 boys, and 1 girl), two of which still live with us (teenagers). My husband and I have been married over 30 years! He's my best friend ever! He is retired from The Ford Motor Company. He is also a retired Assistant Fire Chief & EMT. We love cats and have two of them. We are HUGE Nascar fans and try to attend a couple of races a year. Also have a Harley Electra Glide Classic, that we don't get to ride much, mainly because of Michigan weather or we're busy caring for my elderly father who is wheelchair bound. We also have one granddaughter who is 7. Oh ya, I'm also a breast cancer survivor of 3 years ~ Diagnosed in Dec. of 2003 with stage II IDC lymph node positive and ER positive. After having a left modified radical mastectomy, I underwent 9 weeks of pretty strong Chemo. Have been on Tamoxifen and after 3 yrs (May of 2007) my Doctor will switch me to Femara. Feeling great!

| Ebayin, Nascar racing (Kasey Kahne as if you couldn't tell), Tiger Baseball (Pudge Rodriguez), RVing, Harley Davidson, playing at the computer, bird watching. I also collect Nascar, Harley, Betty Boop, Lucy, Disney's Tinkerbell & Eeyore . Love trying new & different coffee houses with my daughter. Our favorite is Caribou! I love walking for exercise and working out. I'm up to 3 1/4 miles a day. Love getting together with family, and spending time with my granddaughter. Music:Chris DuRoss (he's my son the guitarist & recording engineer), Jim Henes (Chris' friend who is an awesome singer/song writer and guitar player. They are currently recording a CD, that should be out this year. Bette Midler (My Favorite Female Vocalist)KT Tunstall, Sheryl Crow, Enya, Sarah McLachlan (my other favorite female vocalist), James Taylor, Israel IZ Kamakawiwo'ole, Coldplay, and old stuff like The Doors, The Who, Allman Brothers & Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, , Uncle Kracker, Rob Thomas, Green Day. Newer stuff my daughter makes me listen to like My Chemical Romance, The Used, AFI, MSI, Dope, Korn and The White Stripes to name a few. |
