| After more than a decade playing together, the Los Angeles based trio Soul Puppet, continues to make music on their own terms. Taking most of their influence from early American Roots music, they create a unique point of view of their country's own rich musical herritage. However, discovering these roots was a journey in itself. A love for 60's rock and roll music led them to legendary Band drummer Levon Helm. It was this unique experience that laid the foundation for the band's new found passion and sound. Chris continued a professional relationship with Helm in the studio, and Luke and Stephan went on the road behind blues star, Jonny Lang on his successful 2005 acoustic tour. Today, the band continues doing what they have done since they were teenagers, making the music they love, and performing for all who will listen. | |
