| Rodney Munnings aka 'DJ A +' is the West Coast's first and only Percussion DJ. He has a variety of spins from Electronica, to Hip-Hop, House, Rock, Reggae, Latin, Brazillian, Jazz, UK Underground Beats and even Oldies. You name the groove and he's on it. While spinning the hottest grooves he is also captivating his crowd with percussion skills out of this world. Specializing in Congas, Timbalas, Bongos, and more. So when planning an event you no longer need to ask yourself if you want DJ or live music, because he is able to give you both in the most enthusiastic package you have ever seen. I'm thinking maybe the basics, like my favorite color, that's yellow or what do I like to do. Well... that's many hobbies that I have or should I say that God blessed me with. Number one- sing everyday. Laugh everyday. Produce a track or two, Write a song, Also get a nice hug.(I Love Hugs) My life could be strange sometimes... for example: I DJ, I play percussions, I teach hip-hop and jazz routines at the Academy Ballet school and Pro-Dance Center school.I have a studio at my house, where I produce all original beats. I have a T-shirt print shop and also a company by the name of "Tpye Squad LLC" and "The Unspoken LLC". And there's more...... I love to do gymnastics....and I'm also in a rock band called "Atticist." Now you may say that's quite a lot of sH*%T but I don't think so. I just love doing what I do thats all. OK now let me tell you something about "Type Squad" that's owned by a friend (Edgar Guerrato) and I. We hit it big in 2007 by scoring a publishing deal with "eigoMANGA" in San Francisco. We should have a novel out by the end of June. Sweet!!! Money money money bring it on baby. Okay life is like this, you do more then you get more you do nothing!!!you get nothing. Simple isn't it . So in my life time I'm going to do a lot. A lot like making alot of money by selling some of my ideas. Oh yes I have a lot of ideas. I just need a little backup I call money. That means I'm always looking for investors if anyone's interested out there you know the . I will always thank the Almighty above for blessing me and my family. They mean so much to me. I would do anything for them! like they would do the same for me. My family always says that I could be the coolest friend and the coolest enemy.Well.....
