I'd like to meet:Check out Beth Hart! Beth Hart is an incredible rock/blues singer/songwriter based in L.A. Beth is an internationally known artist. She has an astonishing voice and ability to connect and communicate to an audience. So versatile, she can sing a beautiful piano ballad and then turn around and do a Zeppelin cover that brings the house down. Beth lays herself bare in openly writing about her life difficulties including drug and alcohol addiction. Thankfully she is now clean, touring with her band and writing amazing songs. She is an inspiration to so many. She is very popular in Europe (especially the Netherlands & Denmark) where she is a headliner and plays large festivals. Beth has collaborated with Les Paul, Jeff Beck and Dutch artist Born among others. Beck saw one of her shows in the Netherlands and hand picked her to tour with him as his guest vocalist on two U.S. tours in 2006. Beck said of Beth, "The vocalist in the band, Beth Hart, I can't believe that she isn't huge. She's just got this niche market. But there's nobody who can hold a candle to her. Even Janis Joplin. I'd much rather listen to Beth, because her intonation's on-the-ball; she doesn't strain the throat like Janis does. I heard her voice on one of her CDs, and then I saw a performance in Holland that she gave, which was amazing," he said.
