FRAGILE Tra le possibili definizioni di “fragile” una in particolare rende l’idea del suono del quintetto campano: “che si può rompere con facilità, delicato, cagionevole, facile a peccare, a cadere nelle tentazioni”, è infatti solo una linea sottile il confine tra la delicatezza delle atmosfere più pacate, eteree, e la tentazione, il peccato delle parti più violente e taglienti delle composizioni della band. E’ l’inizio di un freddissimo gennaio 2006 quando Francesco Marrone, Marcella Brigida, Enzo Spalice e Michele Bifari entrano per la prima volta in sala. A distanza di un anno, preceduto da numerosi concerti, esce “Waiting room”, il loro primo lavoro, grazie al quale vengono selezionati per il Liternum Rock Festival (Villa Literno), il Plug&Play Festival (Vallo della Lucania), il Dintorni Rock Festival (Napoli) e fanno parte degli 80 gruppi italiani selezionati per il Music Village 2007… Nell’ottobre 2007 i Fragile interrompono l’attività live per concentrarsi sulle nuove composizioni e per inserire un secondo chitarrista, Francesco Esaminato, che arricchisce le potenzialità e il sound della band… Among the several possible definitions of “fragile” one particularly makes clear the sound of Neapolitan quartet: “something that it’s easily broken, delicate, sickly, easy to fall into temptation, prone to sin”. The boundary between the delicate and ethereal atmospheres and the violence of their harsh sound is just a thin line. At the beginning of a freezy January, in 2006, Francesco , Marcella, Michele e Enzo entered into a sound studio. In a year’s time with many live shows they presented “Waiting room”, their first job, thanks to which they are selected for Liternum Rock Festival (Villa Literno), Plug & Play Festival (Vallo della Lucania), Dintorni Rock Festival (Napoli) and for Music Village 2007…. In October 2007 the Fragile broke off their live concerts to focus on new works and to introduce a second guitarist, Francesco Esaminato , who increases the band potentiality and enriches its sound…. |
