Music:Member Since: 4/2/2006Band Members: DCB/MV Influences: When referring to this music I relate this CDs end result to recording artists such as; Donovan, King Crimson, Syd Barret, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, and all of the late 60s ensemble of musical and spiritual journeymen and women.The idea for this concept album did (ultimately) originate with a deep appreciation of Donovan's HMS (children's story and nonsense poetry) album.Also, Arnold Lobel's endearing watercolor artwork as well as the morals of his children's stories were perfectly attuned to inspiring the music on this CD, and in all respect to him I adapted a collage of his early works for the CD cover of this musical work.This CD is merely an experimental body of work paying tribute to artists of an era where sincerity and innocence influenced and inspired the musical expressions of so many artists back then, this attitude seems unimportant in the recording industry of today.
