The electronic music band, Xnand of Istanbul was formed in 2003 by two men conjoined to produce works by means of their experience, which were to give a new breath to alternative trends. Xnand anticipated to cloud the perception of the listener and to focus his attention entirely on a fixed point. However, beyond the anticipation this music, in real time, has had shocking effects on the listener. Xnand seeks in its projects to stimulate the target audience by error of perception and to provide suitable grounds for them to discuss the case, in stead of numbing them and ensuring them to enjoy the improper situation they are involved in. The Xnand Band owned by Serdar C. Demir and Hakan Cepni puts its signature also under such works that bear true experimentality. It is very difficult under todays circumstances for such leading works to acquire a place within the limits of culture. So, introverted works are produced and they serve for research purpose. |
