He has recorded studio tracks for such well known artists as Garbage and U2, and has appeared live with Luther Allison, Michael McDonald (Doobie Brothers), Sun Volt, Clyde Stubblefield (James Brown) and Buddy Miles to name a few. When asked how he came to be in such company, Ryan - always modest about his talents - often replies, "I know a lot of good jokes!" Pauli may be modest, but he has also been playing since he was "banging on pans in his mother's kitchen", and has learned from every style of music imaginable (and unimaginable) along the way.
