| Il progetto Wrath Prophecy nasce nel 2004 grazie alla collaborazione tra il chitarrista Marco Ancona e il batterista Gabriele Coldepin; dopo vari cambi di formazione si giunge alla line-up definitiva che vede al basso Francesco Barioli e alla voce Matteo Guerriero. Profondamente Influenzati dal thrash metal di Slayer, e Pantera in primis, dal death degli omonimi Death, e da i vari gruppi della recente scena hardcore (The Dillinger escare plan, Between the buried and me) con frequenti riferimenti al progressive italiano degli anni ’70 e ai vari progetti odierni di avanguardia (es. Fantomas) propongono brani molto particolari che spaziano attraverso tutte le loro influenze, unitamente a una spiccata attitudine hardcore.Tra il 2005 e il 2006 raggiungono ottimi risultati in vari concorsi musicali e hanno l’opportunità di suonare in molti locali e festival della zona. Agli inizi del 2006 risale l’incisione del loro primo demo: “Try ThisIllusion” di Rizoma Produzioni.Nel 2007 la formazione si allarga con l'ingresso di Lecyo come seconda chitarra, e con il brano "wrath prophecy" entrano nella compilation Musicanti emergenti di Delirio Caneva...Nel 2008 l'incisione del loro secondo demo 2thousand and hate e la partecipazione alle compilation metalparty 2008 e rockbelluno.it con il brano "dead.buried." ...
