| THE SWEETIts almost 40 years since Sweet first come together,By 1970, after the 3rd line up change, the classic Sweet four-piece; Andy Scott, Mick Tucker, Brian Connolly and Steve Priest-were in place
Out came the lipstick and eyeliner,silver waistcoats and gravity defying platform boots.
Sweet's demise in the late '70's,Brian Connolly's battle with the bottle, and the lads' penchant for snorting, forncinating and fighting, has been well documented.
Sweet out did all comers.
As Andy Scott himself was only too happy to admit recently: 'We were hell-raising macho alcoholics!' -But thats all in the past now.
