Not an isolated island like it use to be. For better or worth. The small village that is the world today !!! Is going to be reflected in Hollywood's productions.The proceeds of the American films is %50 coming from the local market and %50 from the world wide distribution. Few years ago the World Wide income was less than %20. If you make it in Hollywood you are guarenteed to make it any where in the world. So Hollywood is still the power that it used to be. And even more than ever.I am in the process and working toward using the power of Cinema and Television to create important and meaningful messages. I'd like to meet:Any one who thinks that he or she is creative and talented. In front and behind the camera. And would like to use this talent with in a group effort or a team to get messages out to make it a better world .We have to join together and create something with a lasting impact. Television is not what it used to be and people ways and habits are changing rapidly. Cinema also is changing and the competition is fierce but once in a while a movie is made by unknown new people and it creates new stars and careers. And it does not have to be a high budget.I met so many people on myspace and find out that there is a wealth of talent and crativity world wide.( the Global commnunity.) But it is all wasted on individuality. I like the European taste and talent. I strongly believe that America is ready for this type of productions. Specially that we are dealing now with low budget productions. Lets all creative people join hands together and conquer the world.MAYBE NOT THE WORLD. BUT DO SOMETHING WORTH OUR TIME AND VALUES. THAT WILL create AN IMPACT or a dent. I recieved some criticism for using the term "conquer the World". |
