| Marky B....." BORN ON THE ROAD"Born in Modesto, Northern California and raised in Denver, Colorado, Marky B or two niner...as they call him..comes from a guitar-strumming family. His early memories of music include "chewing on dad's guitar neck". After first participating in Folk, Bluegrass and Rock, he was greatly influenced by the live concerts of the 70's and 80's. His favorite bands consist of The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd and The Band, while his favorite musicians are Gilmore, SRV, Page, Clapton, T-Rex and Slash. .....still on the road........Here in Tiny Piney, Woming.....where the dogs are warm and the girls are hairy...it's cold as hell....but there's lots of time to write and paint....create....and....... | |

Influences: ok.....it's kinda hard to get away from my pop's influence...and my stupid brothers....thier the best around...I look to the early 70's in England for most of my guitar influence.... except......Hendrix....SRV......GARCIA....Rock -SKA - Americana - punk.......acid jazz.....any kind of jazz......"like the basterd child of Jonny Cash....and Ted Nugent......" I've heard said..... Sounds Like: umm.......Buck Owens....in O.B. puffin fatties....just kidding...(not really) I hope my sound changes...as it has over the years....don't really know what's around the next corner.....hopefully it sounds like I'm having fun.( hopefully YOU like some of it.)
