Ogenki deska? MJ JAZZ was founded in 2002 when my Father unbeknown to him at the time first got me into the (music) video editing game. Whereby some bizarre mishap the subject of interest just happened to be none other than Brownswoods Recording original rocker and head honcho Mr Gilles (hup, hup, hup) Pe-ter-son. Eeezee GP. Since this time the musical adventure and (family joke) has covertly taken me to a number of Worldwide (WW)-esque gigs all over the length and breath of the UK including (the former Belvedere Arms in Richmond), the T&C club, Brixton Academy, Dingwalls back in it's heyday, Cargo, Plastic People, ICA, RFH, Freedom, the Ocean Rooms, Cluw Ifor Bach, Seen @ Level, Asylum @ Mint, the Music Box, and the Sub club), Vienna, Switzerland, Novi Sad, Sète, Miami, and Tokyo to name but a few, as Brownswood favourite travel reporter extraordinaire. (Albeit, I have still yet to see a GP set in Lagos, St Pete, Sardegna, München, Dubai, the Maldives, Hawaii or Singapore (so close yet so far at Zoukout in Sentosa!). The penny has finally dropped and Spring 2007 sees the official launch campaign. (Pre-view party in ZRH: 21-07-07.) The initial marketing strategy is still in the embryonic phase, but essentially we are an entrepreneurial clothing company promoting our own branded ‘soulful Jazz t-shirts for phunky peeps’, and hip kiddies range of clothing (all imported from Japan/Switzerland). Work is in progress to develop the site, but hold tight, as you’ll soon be able to place your orders in £, CHF, €, ¥, and $. We are also serve as a video editing company. Need those old family betamax bricks, or VHS converted to DVD...let GFP Productions help. The company mantra is to create a forum for exchanging creative positivity with like-minded kindred spirits around the globe. Watch this space for the first promo DVD about to drop anytime soon.
