| I likes to roll till the muthafuckin wheels fall off.
As you can easily surmise I am a musician. I play both guitar and Bass and I love to play as much as I can. I also love to socialize frequently and yes, that means drinking is a byproduct of that activity. I do occasionally get my swerve on and I enjoy that activity. So now you know what I really like to do. I'm not one of those musicians that believe that I'm so serious about my ability and music that I can't still throw down a cocktail or twenty. If that means I am not serious about my music, then so be it. I guess I'm not, but my level of dedication and professionalism I so consistently present when I play would suggest that I do take playing seriously enough. I just don't believe that you have to act like an "old grown up, I'm so serious about my music" kind of guy. You know the type; they disrespect 90% of other bands and their behaviors, put down most types of music etc. They believe if you aren't playing Jeff Beck or Miles Davis, you are some kind of useless musician. Jeff and Miles are badasses by the way, so no disrespect to them. Obviously, this type of musician isn't me and I don't wish to play with these types of mindsets. Lastly, I know how smart I am and I know what I know, but I'm not going to start promulgating and pontificating on MySpace to convince everyone of all the things I studied, taken in school or of my spiritual and political views. If that is a problem for you, I hope you can work through it. So now you know the true nature of The Goose in a nutshell. I am a person that doesn't want to take music (or life) too seriously. I want to have fun playing and I do. I don't wish to engage excessively in debate about things I have no control over and I am tired of all the conspiracy theorists. Life is a journey and I believe we were put here to enjoy the interval between birth and death and that is what I damn well am gonna do.
