| Athens, GA has a rich musical history. We are not part of it. Jimmy Ellison is. William Orten Carlton is, too. When a Saturn car plant moved into the outskirts of town twenty-some years ago, Ort remarked that had Jimmy still been living, he would have gotten a kick out of it. A Saturn plant? What are they doing in there, making planets? Jimmy loved outer space things. Who doesn't? - Renee & Edison = Making Planets Shut Eye Rec's Buzzlighter no. 6 Just Off The Radar Naming Things produced and mixed by virtuoso Steven Trimmer , who also plays the Mellotron on it. Thanks to Liam J. Holland for featuring us in his film Domino. Everything you're listening to (minus Naming Things) was recorded on our old, eldritch analog 4-track a few years ago; and under duress, no less (shortness of time or a rifle-totin' lawman? You decide). These songs and more will be re-recorded in 2008 and put on our upcoming first album "Chimera." This way the spooky pop will come at you in surround sound.
