Universal Mind is a hip-hop group that plays shows in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When you see them two guys with beards are rapping and another guy is spinning...no he doesn't have an ipod or laptop hooked up behind some decks that boy is really spinning. A live band, called THE LOVE TEAM, has also being assembled with Elizabeth Birr (Piano/Organ), Derek Czekala from The Lonely Sound (Drums), Critter from The Barrettes (Cello) and Klavs (Violin). The group has released 3 mixtapes: "No Magik Tricks", "How I Learned To Stop Worrying & Love the Beat", and "American Mixtape". Between various computer thefts and crashes the group has assembled a debut L.P ("Jewels From A Corpse's Mouth") which has finally seen the light of day. Kilgore Trout & Mammal have just become distracted with work on their newest mixtape and/or album "Strange Crew: The Great White Mixtape", however recording facilities is down dude.
