About Me
Juan Carlos Mataix directs and presents Toxicosmos programme in Valencia radio since 1997. As a DJ he has been to different venues in Valencia such as Barraca, Le Club, Cormoran, Latex, The Mill, Flow, Wah Wah, El Tornillo, Swan, Matisse... but also in festivals as FIB 2002 and 2006 (Benicassim), Este04 (Valencia), LemonPop (Murcia) or Wintercase and clubs in cities such as London (How does it feel to be loved?), Paris (Le Truskel), Barcelona (Pop Bar/Razzmatazz), Madrid (Barbarella), Murcia (12 y Medio), Castellon (Zeppelin), Albacete (El Divino)... Nowadays he combines his sessions and the radio program with his work at an advertising agency. He works also in the area of "coolhunting" for different marketing companies. In his CV we can find that he has worked in LaMilk Magazine, several record shops as Elefant Record Shop or his work in some albums and bands' promotion. If you want to listen us live... Actualmente compagina sus sesiones y la realizacion del programa de radio con su trabajo en una agencia de publicidad y comunicacion, ademas de realizar labores de Coolhunting para diferentes empresas de marketing. En su curriculum podemos encontrar tambien el haber trabajado en la revista de moda y tendencias LaMilk Magazine, en tiendas de discos especializadas como Elefant Records o en el apoyo de promocion de campañas destinadas a publico joven.
