Tired of the sirens and the crack of the whip we jumped ship in Shanghai and earned a meagre crust playing sea shanties for the great and the good of the opium trade. At the fall of Singapore we stowed away to the west and now find ourselves in the shark infested waters of 21st century London. We sound like a honey-trap sturm-und-drang disco hedgehog, seconds before it's squashed under the merciless wheels of the giant "rockadecker" bus, driven by Kitchener with a tear in his eye and war on his radio. Along the way we have collected a string of glittering accolades: Steve Lamacq called us 'The most lyrically erudite band I've heard in a long while...' Marc Riley procalimed that we are 'Tighter than a duck's arse...' We have played live sessions on Radio 2 and BBC 6 music... We have had further airplay on Radio 1, Radio 2, BBC London and again 6 Music. Beth Ditto spilt wine all over Mike's shoes halfway through Alex's DJ set at Leeds Festival. In short we have been greeted with open arms and watery eyes wherever our musical whims have carried us. The War rages on and the explosions in the distance grow nearer.
