D'NIRO WELLS was born in Illinois, he grew up on the south side of Chicago in the Englewood area. The name D'Niro stands for money a name his mother gave him as a child, She said that he would be the one in the family that make millions. D'NIRO brings a new sound to hip-hop called Hip-Hop Soul,a mix of R&B and HIP-HOP togther. D'NIRO started performing when he was five years old, he started writing songs at the age of nine, by the age of fourteen his mother knew that her son would soon be a star. D'Niro has opened for artist such as; Chingy, B2K, Craig David, Do Or Die and Casper. He has also performed on many cable shows in Chicago. Performing in the Milwaukee summer fest in 2001, and in the Maywood fest in 2003 and the Chicago Black Expo in 2005 with label mate Jenisie. D'NIRO has over 500 songs written to date, he is a very strong song writer he can write anything from RAP/HIP-HOP to R&B to POP.D'niro goal is to get a major song writing deal and let the world know that he is the true king of Hip-Hop Soul, touching fans around the World with his songs and stage performance. D'niro played a major leading role in his first film called HUSTLE RELOADED THE MOVIE in january of 2007 and will start shooting his 2nd film in 2008. D'NIRO WELLS NEW SINGLE WILL DROP SUMMER/2008 |
