Buy Time Runs Away on iTunes Dr Voy was born in 2000, after a jam with the two brothers Vince (guitar) & Jeff (guitar & lead voice), and their friend Al (bass). They tested more than one drumer, their choice has stopped to Stef who will bring a groovy touch... Their influence is a mix Composed of psychedelic rock, 70's sound, punk attitude, and soul spirit. Those four guys come from La Louvière, a little town of the south of Belgium where work is an utopia. And it's in these conditions they can make a true music with their guts... With more than one hundred concerts in all of Belgium, the band decide to produce an album to leave a trace in the great world of Rock... In September 2006, Dr Voy were invited to perform in Manchester (Tottington) and Blackpool. It's there in UK that they presented their brand new album as well as the 2 new musicians, Bat (drums) and Salv (bass) Peace & Rock'n'Roll Nostalgique des années rock n roll ? Voilà un groupe qui pourrait en intéresser plus d'un Il suffit de quelques consultations et Dr Voy vous démontrera que le vrai rock n roll est toujours le King au royaume de la musique Originaires de La Louvière, Dr Voy est un groupe qui nous délivre ses riffs carrés et ses mélodies ravageuses. Le line-up classique et minimaliste (basse-batterie-guitares) semble être un cocktail idéal pour les Dr Voy qui sont bien décidés à faire bouger les planches des scènes belges... du moins continuer puisque les Dr Voy ont déjà une expérience scénique. Il est à remarquer que c'est sur sècne que l'énergie et la puissance de Dr Voy atteignent leur paroxysme Un groupe à écouter, bien sûr, mais surtout à voir et à danser Niveau influences, c'est dans le jazz, dans le funk, dans le rock métal ou dans le rock psychédélique, que les Dr Voy vont chercher leurs inspirations. On retrouve dans leur musique un peu des Rolling Stones, un peu de Led Zeppelin, un peu des Sex Pistols ou encore un peu d'AC/DC mais c'est surtout beaucoup de Dr Voy que nous retrouvons dans les atmosphères et les sons choisis. Original donc et bien sûr très efficace, Dr Voy a un style particulier et large à la fois mais une chose est sûre, c'est du rock et cela s'entend !
