En un inicio integrado por Don Vuelo y DJ Pin (Sin Ninguna Garantia y Conpostura), y al cual se unieron El Rubio y El Otro (Marra Funkarra). Se consolidó en 2003 con "YAERAORA", sus primeros 5 cortes en formato maqueta, que ya dejaba intuir la inquietud y el talento de la formación. Los componentes de Terrassa y Rubí, configuran un frente artístico de una propuesta que desde el principio ha avanzado por su propio terreno sin concesiones a las tendencias temporales del hiphop. Lo suyo es la franqueza, la humildad sin falsa modestia y el cariño, un cariño hacia lo que hacen y hacia lo que dicen, hacia su público y hacia la posibilidad de cambiar las cosas. El derrotismo no cabe en la mente de Gran Pueblo, como han demostrado en su primer larga duración “POR H O POR B”, un derroche de optimismo, confianza e inconformismo constructivo. Este LP ve la luz de la mano de Soul y Sombra. Colaboran Giro er Nene, Rene, Dive Dibosso, Juan Profundo, Gravsound, Quiroga y Aniki, gravitando entre un torrente de rimas, samples, y scratches que Gran Pueblo ha desplegado para la ocasión. El resultado es un disco variado pero homogéneo, donde las diferentes visiones de los MC’s confluyen y se hermanan con un único fin: una declaración de principios liberadores, donde la lucha está en tener presente aquello que vale la pena. Después de 2 años desde su primer LP “POR H O POR B” colaborando en “HISTORIAS DE Q” de Quiroga, “BARNAFILES” de Titó, y tras el abandono de uno de sus componentes,Gran Pueblo se viste de largo para presentar sus nuevos temas en formato EP, anticipo de lo que será su nuevo LP. Bajo el título de “PISCOLABIS”, grabado en SoulFUL Studios, el trío ofrece 4 temas que reflejan un cuidado trabajo de producción y una personalidad artística fuera de toda duda. Todas las letras están escritas por El Rubio y Eduardo Don Vuelo, que además se encarga de toda la producción musical. Dj PIN hace algo más que cubrir la retaguardia y ofrece una buena serie de espectaculares cuts. BIO (ENGLISH) GranPu, as their loyalest followers call them, started their career in 1998. At the beginning, the group consisted only of two members, Don Vuelo and Dj Pin from Terrassa (Sin Ninguna Garantia and CoNpostura), and lately El Rubio and El Otro from Rubi (Marra Funkarra) joined. Thanks to their five first individual pieces in demotape, these four gifted players strengthened their career with YAERAORA in 2003, where they showed us their ability with lyrics. The group has been growing up without the current hiphop market tendencies. Frankness, humility and love for their audience and music are the hallmark of their genius. The idea of defeatism is not included either in their vocabulary or in their philosophy. We realized it thanks to their first LP named “Por H o por B”, where we got their optimism, confidence and nonconformism. This LP came out at the hands of Soul y Sombra. Gran Pueblo got a huge number of brilliant collaborators such as Giro er Nene, Rene, Dive Dibosso, Juan Profundo, Gravsound, Quiroga or Aniki. In this LP, Gran Pueblo displayed a rush of rhymes, samples and scratches. The result is an homogenous LP; the different Mcs’ visions come togehter in an unique statement of free principles, where they show us that the real fight takes into account what it is worth. Since the birth of their first LP, Gran Pueblo has been collaborating in other musical projects such as in Quiroga’s “HISTORIAS DE Q” or Titó’s “BARNAFILES” . Besides, one of their members has given up the band. But apart from this, Gran Pueblo has continued working on their music. Finally, they have just got dressed smartly to display us their new EP called “Piscolabis” recorded in SoulFUL Studios. “Piscolabis” reflects a well-cared production and beyond all doubt their own personality. All the lyrics have been written by El Rubio and Eduardo Don Vuelo, who is also in charge of the musical production, and Dj Pin offers exceptional cuts. In short, these three Music Gods can work miracles with words, rhymes and rhythms.
