| Visit 93.9 The Wolf.com. "Click on the images" Hello and welcome to the 60inchslick myspace site. The name Sixty Inch Slick, as most of you might know, is a racing tire. If by chance, you are wondering how we came up with that name, I will give you the history. We practice at a farm house out in God's country that is well over 100 years old. Our guitar player, Ralph, grew up in this house. Over four generations of Ralph's family lived in this house. Across the dirt road, they are planning on building a dragstrip. We thought that it would be neat to come up with a name that had something to do with this race track that they are building. After bashing our heads together and tying to think of something good, a friend of ours came up with the name Sixty Inch Slick. We all agreed on it and the rest is history. Sad enough to say, the house is going to be torn down soon. This house has created memories for all of us. Not just the band, but for the four generations. Ok, now about the band... About three years ago, Pete ("Animal") and Danny were out looking for musicians to form a high energy show. Danny spoke to Ralph at a family reunion about joining the band. Ralph's previous band was no longer playing, so it didn't take long for Ralph to make his decision on joining up with the team. We got very lucky to find Paul (Spyder). What a great bassplayer. He fits perfectly in this band. Between Paul and Animal, we have an unstoppable driving force. Our latest addition, Rick Yezzi, sets the sound with a smooth rhythm. He may be the youngest of the group, but he plays like a true veteran. So if you like high energy country, come see us soon..... Ralph has been in the music business his whole life. He is the son of one of the finest country musicians to ever enter Nashville. There is no limit on this creation. He will entertain you to the max. DANNY - Keyboards, Guitars, and Vocals! The son of a gospel singer, has been playing professionally for 22 years. He lights up the stage playing keyboards, acoustic guitar, and harmonica. He will also captivate the audience as one of the vocalists of the group. RICKY - Guitars and Vocals! Ricky comes from a musical family and has proven himself as a strong addition to the band "Sixty Inch Slick". Spyder - Bass Guitar! A veteran of the music scene who plays with a passion. He is multi-talented and is the other half of the Sixty Inch Slick driving force.. AND NOW THE OTHER HALF..... "ANIMAL" - Drums, Percussion and Noise! The Mad Drummer! He Literally Kicks @..%!.. *^*!! Buried behind his "Black & Chrome" infested cage, nicknamed "The Animal", This Italian New Yorker with a Jersey attitude performs with an uncontrollable, explosive level of energy!! To keep himself in peak physical condition, Animal works out relentlessly both on and of the road! AND LET US ALSO MENTION..... The Pit Crew Ron, Pat, Mickey Mike, and Shane. You couldn't ask for a better crew. Influences: Our influences come from our love for country music. We all have so many influences in our lives. We would be sitting here for days listing them all.
